Spiral Soul Apothecary
When I was young we lived beside my Grandmother, Chrissie. She adored flowers and plants and was my first inspiration for this work. She would grow flowers, make flower arrangements, dry flowers and make flower cards! She would also grow fruit and veg, making enough jam to do us for the whole year! I was lucky enough to move into her house with her beautiful garden with many of her flowers still blooming every year. Now we grow our own flowers, herbs and vegetables in this same organic garden in the north of Ireland. We enjoy being as eco as possible, using solar panels for electricity and a wood burning stove for heat and we have planted over 1000 trees on this beautiful land that leads down to the river..
I have always been drawn to creating herbal remedies. You name it, I’ve made it! Herbal wines, tinctures, creams, oils, perfumes, liquers, teas, essences, powders, bath salts… My dream has always been to live a simple life close to nature, utilising Mother nature’s gifts that support our body, mind and spirit. I continue to be fascinated by herbal medicine and love exploring how to include herbs and flowers into my life daily. I enjoy growing herbs but also wildcrafting those that grow here locally in abundance. Working with herbs and flowers helps me to attune to the seasons and to the cycle of the moon, an aspect of this work that is very close to my heart.
Each product that I create is made with such love and care. I use the beautiful energies of the seasons, the moon, reiki and crystals to magnify the healing energies of the plants and flowers.
